Those Who Dont

This chapter was a very important one in that Espernza expreses her feeling about where she is and where she is not comfortable. She says "all brown all around we are safe." This quote shows that she only feels comfortable when the only people around are hispanics. She feels that being around any other group of people is threatining and she doesnt want to be in that situation.

I agree, this was a very important chapter. it started to explain the segregation around where Esperanza lived and we can tell that there is a lot of racism where Esperanza lived. This is probobly why she feels more comfertable around people of her own race then around people of different races. Jeff...... way to be man. however i would like to see explain more about how you feel about the chapter instead of summerizing it. mmmmkkkaayyyyy.

I also think this chapter was very important, bc it talks about how she is not comfortable around other ppl tht aint like her. It shows how ppl get scared around different kinds of ppl. How groups of ppl stick together.
